Dispute Resolution Log

How BetLink handles disputes between affiliates and operators, and a running log of resolved matters once anonymised counsel-pending bodies are signed off.

Last updated: 2026-05-16

BetLink mediates commission, attribution, and compliance disputes between affiliates and the operators they promote through the BetLink catalogue. We publish a quarterly summary of resolved disputes — anonymised, but with enough structure that affiliates can see how a given operator behaves over time. This page exists so the process is legible before anyone needs it.

Scope

Eligible disputes fall into one of four buckets: commission shortfall versus the published rev-share, attribution gaps (postback received but no commission posted), unilateral term changes mid-campaign, and payout delays beyond the operator’s declared NET-period. Disputes outside this scope are routed to the operator’s own support process and noted as such in the log.

How a dispute reaches BetLink

Every accepted dispute follows the same four-stage flow. Each stage has a documented owner, a target turnaround, and an audit-log entry, so neither side gets to revise history later.

  1. Intake — the affiliate files a dispute from the footer Report form, attaches their click and conversion logs, and flags the operator and the disputed period.
  2. Evidence gathering — BetLink pulls the corresponding postback events, click logs, and the operator’s own reported figures, then reconciles the three feeds.
  3. Mediation window — the operator has fourteen calendar days to respond. Silence is treated as a non-response and noted in the log.
  4. Resolution — either an agreed correction (paid out in the next cycle), a written denial with reasoning, or — if the operator stays unresponsive — a public note in this log and a downgrade in the catalogue ranking.

Public dispute log

Resolved disputes appear below once the case is closed and both sides have had 30 days to respond to the proposed summary. The affiliate’s identity is never published. The operator is named once they have either agreed to publication or failed to respond inside the response window. Sums are bucketed (under €500, €500–€5 000, over €5 000) — never exact.
