Community Evidence Methodology

BetLink publishes operator facts from reviewed evidence, not live wiki edits. Scraping, operator updates, and community submissions stay visible as separate source signals.

1. Scope

Community evidence covers structured facts about operators, brands, affiliate programs, licenses, domains, payment methods, and commercial terms. Submissions are reviewed before they can update public facts.

2. Source stack

BetLink stores evidence as URLs, screenshots, documents, extracted values, source hashes, and observation times. Accepted submissions are added to the append-only source observation ledger and linked to a canonical fact version.

3. Review states

Low-risk confirmations from trusted contributors may be batched. Material claims about licensing, payments, domains, terms, or safety require human review before publication. Operator-supplied updates are marked separately until independently confirmed.

4. BLC rewards

Unique, structured, evidence-backed submissions can earn a small instant BLC reward. Accepted contributions can earn additional BLC based on impact, with critical license, domain, payment, and terms corrections receiving the highest rewards. Reversed contributions can be clawed back.

5. Conflicts

When scraper data, operator data, and community evidence disagree, BetLink preserves the conflict state instead of hiding it. Public pages may show that conflicting evidence is under review until the source stack is reconciled.

6. Corrections

Operators, affiliates, and verified users can submit corrections with evidence. BetLink may ask for additional documentation, mark a fact as disputed, request an operator reply, or retract a canonical version if later evidence shows it was wrong.
